[11 Feb] China January Natural Rubber Imports 170,000 Tons, Sharply Up on Year

China's natural rubber imports in January rose 190% on year to 170,000 metric tons, the General Administration of Customs said Wednesday.

January's natural rubber imports decreased 6% from December, when 181,905 tons were imported, the data showed.

China is the world's biggest importer of natural rubber and gets most of its supplies from Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia--the world's leading natural rubber producers.
