Lanxess Builds Rubber Plant

Lanxess plans to produce as much as 1,500 metric tons of chemical rubber products per year in a factory in Russia.

Construction of the plant started Thursday and will be finished in early 2011, Germany’s biggest publicly traded maker of specialty chemicals said in a statement.
