Malaysia Glove-Makers Fall after Rubber Prices Hit 20-Month High
April 13 (Bloomberg) -- Malaysian glove-makers led Top Glove Corp. fell in Kuala Lumpur trading on concern over higher latex costs after rubber futures reached a 20-month high in Tokyo yesterday.
Top Glove declined 4 percent to 12.96 ringgit at 10:20 a.m. local time, set for its biggest fall in more than 10 months. Kossan Rubber Industries Bhd. dropped 3 percent to 7.67 ringgit and Supermax Corp. fell 3 percent to 6.68 ringgit.
